Flour was made in 72 hours for the Mini Jam 177 (theme: Papercraft, limitation: Secrets inside). I was pretty busy this weekend so a lot of the foundation for this game was taken from/inspired by my previous game Until Oblivion (which you can play on Steam!) but obviously with a lot of new additions as well. This game is also quite a bit heavier than my usual entry, I guess because I've been thinking a lot about the domino effect and how tiny decisions can have huge impacts and I wanted to write a story about that. I hugely ran out of time at the end so there isn't everything I wanted here, but regardless I hope you enjoy. Cheers! Oh, and credit to my friend Philli for the idea.

Great entry in the Nomron ouvre. The main mechanic being trying to decipher terrible handwriting is kind of genius (it's like a video game in your mind, man) and as always the style is on point
I like the game! It feels so unsettling. While the enviorment is in 3D, your character can only move left or right, which makes me feel very trapped; it really adds to the atmosphere. And while Mr. Wood's house is creepy, I'd argue that the main character's house is even creepier. The game leaves you with lots of questions and makes you want more! I would love to explore more of it, but unfortunately I couldn't solve the first riddle, because I couldn't read the note. I think that maybe you could change the font or make the text bigger? Very nice game, a lot of atmosphere! I didn't really find anything related to papercraft, but perhaps it's because I didn't progress into the game enough.
